If you work hard tirelessly everyday, hours on end, with little eat and sleep to fulfill a material goal such as education, career, sports or family you will be hailed for your determination and will power. You do the same in the pursuit of God you will be labeled a fanatic or an outcast. Apparently God has little relevance to people’s lives today beyond mundane ritualism and designations.
